Wallace and Justin are correct. The rule is invoved Article 18-2.

There is only one way to recover, but the rule says it's okay to touch the ball with his club even with regard to the following:

"If a player has the ball in play when:
(i) the player, his partner or either of their caddies lifts or moves it, touches it purposely (except with a club, in fact, to deal )..."

Edit to clarify certain misunderstandings of others: Decision 18 / 2, said that a golf ball "that has Rocks" does not change.

Touching the ball with his club and the ball is on the brink, but not from the place where it does not move.

Totally make more confusion: if you get really move the ball touch with his club, then in front of her, and the ball, a penalty stroke and must replace the ball.

You can not hit the ball with his club during the round, if you make a stroke. It is practically impossible "to move the clubhead to rest" against the ball without him.

Only if this is not the case when the ball is on the drawing board before its first strike in a hole tee'd. When he touched the ball by accident and cause of the advance, before he can crash his "career" will be replaced without penalty. An odor is described as a stroke, and if they fall then the shirt, it would be a further blow.

Good question!

No problem, if your team touches the ball while the ball is in play, so the ball does not move (the ball as "moves" when you restart your computer and stops at another position.

Hope this helps, and I'm glad you took an interest in the rules of golf!

Hit'em Straight!

John, good work and thank you for your support. This rule is very vague and not true for most people, if you have studied for years, the rules of golf.

Greetings and happy to see a fellow fan of the rules of golf!

No matter how many times you touch the ball does not move from his place of rest and then it's not a stroke. But it would be very difficult to play and move the ball. But as it wouldnt of his position is not a punishment.

I think it depends. I played in a tournament of high school a few weeks ago and struck the ball accidentally as she stood before him and fell out of a T-shirt. They walked the rulebook and said that not counting as a shock, because he the ball but I think the USGA rules say something different.

It would be a penalty and lose a stroke. You can also, to touch a ball in play with a club, unless the blow, and it is a disgrace.

This is considered a blow if you are an honest player.

Absolutely not. It is a stroke, inadvertent or not. No birdies on this hole
